EI Rancho Grande

I know it’s a chain, but it feels more like a Mom & Pop place. Nothing fancy, just simple good food. Homemade salsa has real heat. Everything we’ve had there is good, but the real star for me is the chile rellenos – poblano peppers stuffed with tons of melty white cheese, dipped in a delicious eggy batter & fried, then topped w/red sauce. They are huge! You can order an entree of two or three, or for just $2.50 add one to any other entree – we cannot leave this restaurant without having at least one! The monster margaritas are great too…almost too heavy to lift but well worth the effort.
