Nice, authentic Mexican food
After a recent trip to Mexico I’ve become a big fan of small, authentic tacos (not the Taco Bell kind), and I was happy to find them here at El Cid.
The service is pretty friendly and attentive, but they took their time getting us the check. Probably because they thought we’d order another pitcher of margarita. =)
I’d definitely come back again for some good Mexican food.
Dishes I tried:
fish tacos
Light on taste, and dry. Had to add a lot of salsa.
Taco al carbon
My favorite kind of taco. Also a bit dry, but very tasty.
Skirt steak taco
My favorite taco of the night – juicy meat with grilled onions. It went great with the salsas too.

el cid is a casual, fun, lively place to go for some authentic tasty mexican at a reasonable price. the food selection is wide and the service is warm & friendly.
i wouldn’t hesitate to come back to el cid.
Dishes I tried:
fish tacos
i love fish tacos! they do it right here w/real fresh fish jam-packed in corn tortillas. a bit on the dry side, but nothing that a little salsa couldn’t fix.
