You should certainly go for it. First try gallopinto , which is a mixed of rice and beans. That’s so Nicaraguan! You can have a juicy marinated steak of meat with it, add fried cheese and sweet banana, and you’re ready for your first dish, by the way, you can save time by just ordering a Fritanga, which is the spanish name for the above described goodie.
But if you need more than a steak, you can have chicken. It can be served fried or grilled, it comes with a combination of either gallopinto or steam rice, don’t forget your fried cheese and sweet banana. Let’s say, you want fish! At the Momotombo you will find a VERY particular fish dish that is called pescado a la tipitapa, which mean Tipitapa’s Fish. What makes this dish really special is that it will be served to you a boneless fried fish with a sweet tomato and onion sauce on the side, and with the combination I already mentioned,……you’ll ne delighted!
But wait, there’s more. Do you love shrimps?They have shrimp dishes aswell . Grilled, Sauced or Spicy shrimp, you’re covered!
