Came here for lunch right at noon, and had to wait ~30 minutes for a table of 3. Lunchtime diners beware!

Luckily the food quality was as good as I remembered – the lamb shanks were fantastic, and the lunch deals were very well priced. Service was good and attentive, especially for a busy lunchtime hour.

I had dinner here last night and they were fairly busy for a Tuesday night, but were able to seat us right away.

I ordered the lamb shanks (same as in John’s reviews) and they were delicious and the portion was huge! I was full after eating just one of the lamb shanks and took the rest home with me. The description on the menu said something about “meat falling off the bone” and they were right! It came with mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables.

The service here was also good…our waiter was very nice and we didn’t have to wait very long for our food.

Elephant Bar has festive decorations with great customer service. I ordered the Lemon Herb Chicken, which was basically just a piece of chicken with a side of mashed potatoes and spinach. Wasn’t the best dish or the best price. Try their Ice Cream Mud Pie for dessert- it’s a little on the rich side, but delicious!
