Elephant Bar is a pretty tasty, yet very standard restaurant. While the food is good, it is nothing exceptional and they don’t offer food that other restaurants don’t have. The prices are what you would expect out of an average American restaurant. The decor has animals and tries to capture a unique, exotic setting, which mixes it up a little. Overall, while the food is good, I feel there are better American restaurants to go to.

After seeing and hearing about Elephant Bar for quite a while, I was happy to finally try it. Here’s my summary:

First Impressions:

• Great and fun decor – animals everywhere!
• Pretty diverse menu – an eclectic array of asian and american dishes
• Decent prices

Impressions Afterwards:

• Food could use more flavor
• Everything comes with white rice!
• Dishes aren’t that big
• Dish presentation was a little plain

Bottomline: The decor has more flavor than the food.
