The restaurant is located between 2nd and 3rd avenue and Stewart. It’s across from a parking lot and right besides a luggage store.
The restaurant is very cozy and feels home like. The small table setting makes it feel very intimate with the person(s) you are dining with.
The dishes are very small, which is good in allowing you to order many different dishes to try. My favorite dishes was Canard a la provencal; the duck, Cotes d’agnau au romarin; lamb chops, and Pomme frite; French fries.
While I was here, I had the Brochette de beuf; beer sirloin, Canard a la provencal; duck, Cotes d’agnau au romarin; lamb chops, Haricots verts et pignons; green beans, Pomme frite; French fries, and Assiette de charcuterie; assortment tray of meat.
I enjoyed the lamb chops in particular, normally I never order lamb. I don’t like the taste, the smell, etc. This place cooks it so tender and so tasty it doesn’t even taste like lamb anymore! It tasted more like beef or some other type of meat.
As for dessert we had the crème brulee, chocolate cake, and the Chocolat pot de crème.
The bottle of wines we had were the Chateau Marouine Provence Rosé and the chateau amiral de beychevelle bordeaux.
Our server was very helpful in explaining what was in the food, recommendations, and sung, “La vie en rose” for everyone towards the middle of the dinner.
My only disappointment was that they ran out of the Ratatouille dish and only served onion soup during lunch.
Overall it was a very fun experience and I’d go back there again in the future.
