5.0New tapas place in the south loop. I noticed while eating across the street at Gioco. The inside is really nice and swank and supposedly they’re opening up a downstairs that will have live music.
Our waiter was awesome. He was super nice, helpful with suggestions and attentive. It was a weekday so that might have helped.
It’s definitely tapas on the pricier side (compared to cafe iberico), but I think many of the dishes are worth it. I’d come back just for the brazilian sangria. That stuff rocks.
Great way to start the meal. mmmm. cheese. It was a pretty good size pot for 4 people.
I think this is one of my favorite dishes now. Something about bacon and dates just work and this was no exception.
We got this by mistake (so he gave it to us for free). The beef could have been a little juicier, but it was a nice meat filler.
This stuff is awesome. I think our waiter said it was sangria spiked with rum. I was feeling pretty good after 2 glasses.
The sausage was good, but not super. The shrimp was very good. It tasted very fresh and not overflavored. The portions on this one were small though.
