5.0This restaurant is just outside of Downtown Miami on Coral Way. Parking is sometimes tricky and the staff is minimal, but the food is delicious and the outdoor seating is nice (it is covered but still affords you natural sunlight). The bread, fresh baked and probably filled with a half cup of sugar is amazingly wonderful. You can order additional olive tapenade or bruschetta (tomato) topping for an extra charge, and it’s often worth it. If they bring it out hot from the oven it is truly a delight. They have a large variety of foods from Mexican-style dishes, to fresh salads, pastas, sandwiches, and even grilled chicken and steak.
This is a popular place for lunch downtown so if you go during this time you may find it a little crowded. If you need to grab lunch in under an hour you may want to scout elsewhere, when it’s busy it’s hard to get in and out in 45 minutes or less.
It’s both interesting and delicious. It has shrimp, calimari and bay scallops in it. The pasta sauce is tomato based with a kick of spice and the thin but perfectly doughy pasta is delicious.
I wish I remembered the name of it, but the dish has a cornmeal base with lots of lovely avocado, sour cream, cilantro, and diced tomatoes on it. It is fattening and scrumptious.
