This place is smack dab inside the Jordan’s Furniture in Reading. I had eaten at one of these places before and wasn’t thrilled about eating here again.

However, I was in a good mood, since some of my work buds and I were there to see a show at the IMAX…Watchmen. (That is a whole ’nother review tho..)

So…Fuddrucker’s

In theory, I should be a big fan of this place. In practice, however, I am not.

Anyplace that is going to give me huge cheeseburgers, any way I want them, with a ton of fresh fixings and oh, here’s a huge cold milkshake to wash that down with…I mean c’mon…I thought I might even see Jesus behind the counter with a Fuddrucker cap on.

Oh I found Jesus alright…

“Lest Fuddrucker’s be thine last supper; thou shouldst dine elsewhere. No man that cometh to Fuddrucker’s, leaveth with great happiness, nor great wealth…and tastebuds rejoicing.”

True story.

Seriously tho…for as much as they charge you, you should get ONE killer burger with some made-to-order handcut rings or fries…but man, you just don’t. Maybe it’s one of the specialty burgers that is better?

I wanted to keep my meal under $10, so I got the 1/3 lb burger with just soda…no shake.

I read another review of this place where the guy called this an expensive McDonald’s…and I can’t agree more. My order came up so quick, I KNEW it had been sitting there just waiting for me to come along. I think for fresh made to order fare…I would wait the extra minutes…without a doubt.
