it was alright. i’m not gonna scream for it. It’s too pricey for the quality of food they have. I had donkas. it was like anywhere i had it.

I’ve tried eating here 3 times on friends’ recommendations, but will never go back again on account of 3 bad meals. I’ve had half-thawed fish, a bad quail egg and basically sub-par food every time I’ve dined here – not something you’d expect from a high-end japanese restaurant. I’d rather take my business to Ginza or even Sushi Express down the street.

Amazing, decadent sushi and Japanese cuisine. Variety of atmospheres to choose from, from private rooms to the sushi bar. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Everything we tried from the huge and varied menu was impeccable. They offer both very traditional and modern dishes, and all are delicious.

This is the best sushi I’ve ever had. I would take a Japanese friend to eat here, and that’s saying a ton. Almost everything was absolutely perfect; the monkfish liver appetizer brought tears to my eyes, and the uni (sea urchin) was like an ocean breeze in late September. The only thing I didn’t quite care for was the torched uni—-cooking the uni seemed to denature its delicate character completely, and all I really tasted was sweetness. Also, the more byzantine maki seemed a bit much to me, but my personal preference in sushi tends to lie towards the traditional. All in all, a fantastic restaurant that I will return to the next time I visit Boston.
