3.0The fried food here is pretty good but the Sushi is mid grade and they don’t have many selections of fresh Sushi. California and Veggie Rolls are excellent but quality, freshness and variety of Sushi is NOT what they do.
Staff is quite friendly and prices are very reasonable if you are not into hard core fresh high quality Sushi. For that you need to go to the East side and check out Izumi’s.
Overall the restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly and the price is reasonable if you don’t want gourmet Sushi. If you are trying Japanese food for the first time this would be an excellent place to go.
The salmon was done nicely and was very tasty but it was not as fresh as I expected from a Japanese Restaurant. The rice did not have the texture of quality Japanese rice. The serving was plentiful and the food arrived quickly so I gave it a rating of good.

5.0I love this place! They know me by name.. They have specials night where many rolls are half price. The service is always great, with a very friendly bartender. My favorites are their sunshine roll and west Allis roll. They many traditional sushi and some great creative rolls that you cant get anywhere else.
