I have to admit, I don’t really like cake. But the chocolate cake at Gladstone was to die for. Moist and spongey….I bought a cake here four or five years ago and it tasted freezer burned. I gave my compliments to the baker this time, and she told me that four years ago they had a manager who liked to freeze everything, so nothing was fresh, and that’s why it was so bad. Now, they have a night baker who bakes everything fresh. You could really tell the difference!
This is the only place in the city I could find that offered such flavors as oreo and chocolate chip cheesecake! Was well worth the wait!
Absolutely delicious, not to mention ingeniously decorated! I got a cake in the shape of Elvis! I didn’t even know they could do that. My brother in law loved it!

Will Never Go Back!! been doing business with the bakery for more than 20 years. Been buying Paczki here for more than 10 years. Hours were changed to 7:00 a.m. for paczki day. Never informed of change when I placed order. Sat outside from 5:30 a.m. (used to open at 6:00 a.m.) Manager would not come to the front when requested. Pre order was not ready upon arrival. Ordered 6 doz assorted. Rcd mostly Strawberry and boxes were not packed assorted, boxes were packed one flavor to box. I had to go home and repack it.
Ordered fresh fruit. Some were not filled with the fruit but only had the juices from the fruit. Paczki were not of uniform size. Size difference was from a child’s fist to an elephant ear.
