4.0Just had an “ALL MEAT SUPER BURRITO” with guacamole for about 6 dollars. Quality of meat was excellent for the price, and no vegetables or beans or rice. It was pure heaven, but I was rebuked by a friend that because of my high cholesterol, my consumption of “ALL MEAT SUPER BURRITOS” should be kept to a minimum.

3.0Gordo Taqueria offers cheap burritos, hovering around 5 dollars for a super burrito, 6 with guacamole. I ordered a carnitas burrito. It was pretty big, but definitely not the most filling burrito I’ve ever had. I feel that there are better burritos in the Berkeley/Albany area. I thought it lacked the taste and punch that some burritos have, such as at Marios or Juans. The rice and beans overpowered a bit too much. This might have been because the meat didn’t have enough of that meaty flavor, but was more bland. If I ever come back here, I’ll try the all meat burrito. A friend got it, and it sounded pretty good.

5.0Bean and cheese super burrito no hot sauce yes tomatoes… Don’t know how many times I’ve said that sentence. Of course then repeating the no hot sauce and then a minute later repeating the yes tomatoes. If you get the hot sauce, though, I’ve heard it is essential to transport the burrito to your location of consumption horizontally so as to ensure proper hot sauce distribution throughout its travels.
Anyway, really really great burritos. Always a line out the door. Always roughly 50% of the customers ordering in spanish. I learned my juicy burrito eating skills here, and passed my wisdom on to Liam after he used up 7 napkins.
