This “is what it is” – funny little place, original “hole in wall” – no frills, – no tables – no “dinnerware” – just a good little place that’s been there awhile – folks just go in, get a dog or a burger (or two) – no place to sit, can stand at the counter around the wall, or take it with you. Chili, onions, mustard – that’s about it for toppings (you gotta “ask” for catsup) – used to stop in once in while on trips to Salisbury VA – rode over from Concord to see if still there. It’s still there. Good stuff.
We each got couple of dogs “all the way” – chili, onions, mustard – buns soft and good – and couple of Cheerwine’s in the bottle. Us old folks know how to find “old memories”. (got an RC to go too!)

I love the chili on the hot dog. But I don't care too much for the hot dog itself - the casing is a bit tough. The chili makes up for it though. And of course, you just got to down a cold Cheerwine in the bottle with it. There's only…

This place has unbelievable hotdogs!! My favorite is the chili cheese dog, and an ice cold Cheerwine in the bottle. It's been around for decades, and that says something in this day & age!
