4.0There isn’t anything fancy about this combination bar/dining room atmosphere. Actually the lighting is a bit on the gloomy side and the seating is not exactly what I’d call “cushy,” but you sure do you get great value for your money! There are always an abundance of reasonally priced seafood choices that you can order fried, broiled or baked, even in combinations! Make sure you have a big appetite if you order the thick and hearty clam chowder as an appetizer before your meal. And for those who don’t favor seafood, there are also steaks, chops and other daily specials on the menu. You can play Keno while you dine and even buy a large crate of farm fresh eggs on your way out the back door! There is plenty of parking. I’ve gone to Herbie’s a few times so far and I would recommend this place to anyone who is craving seafood.
I forget the price. It had it with chowder, fries, a cole slaw, and loved it all. Herbie’s didn’t have baked potatoes, at least when I went.
