good standby
The thing to do at Hide is stick to the very basics: tuna, salmon, yellowtail. You know. For the basics, the fish is very fresh, wonderful, and the prices can’t be beat.
Don’t venture out to the likes of ankimo and uni, those aren’t basic enough, and not so good here.
Hide is a great standby for a fix of great (basic) sushi at very reasonable prices.

Good sushi, but pricey
If you like raw fish, then you’ll like Hide. The fish quality is great and they focus just on the good and raw stuff. No weird combinations with funny names. There’s a couple cooked dishes and combinations for those that are less adventurous, but most of the entrees revolve around the fish. If i had more money, I’d eat here more often, but, alas, I’ll stick to the japanese market down the street :)

A seemingly 'hideaway' gem
Hide delivers the best fish for the value, you can eat 2 meals @ Hide for the price of 1 meal @ Mori Sushi, n 1.5 meals @ Hide for the price of 1 meal @ Sasabune. Many are Japanese diners and many are returning patrons. The wait can be excruciating n the service slow during peak dinner hrs, so have a lite lunch and head there early for the 1st dinner seating, you won’t be dissapointed!
Dishes I tried:
miso soup, steamed clams, hamachi, chutoro, amaebi, mirugai, uni
