5.0As a Texan, I may be shot for saying this, but the barbecue at Hill Country rivals the best in Texas. They ship the wood as well as sausages and specialty items such as Big Red and Bluebell Ice Cream (you Texans know what I’m talking about!) straight from the Lone Star State, and although the entire placed can get a little over the top kitschy, it still is a nice reminder of home. (UT games played here too!) If you come on the weekends, don’t miss out on the smoked beef short rib, and the brisket moist is to die for. Really…all of it is just so good. You can’t go wrong! Just don’t lose your ticket!
