2.0Because of the Red Wings, Hockeytown has become a bustling tourist attraction.
I’m not really a fan of Hockeytown because of the service. It literally took an hour for our food to arrive.
The prices don’t help either. Though they do have a pretty large menu and well-stocked bar, it’s shadowed by the premiums they charge. Just about any food item, including samplers, are close to $10. Drinks are anywhere from $4-10 depending on what you get.
I can see how going to Hockeytown could be an experience of sorts. However, for people like me, there are many other places in town that would provide a better experience for a better price.
If you like Hard Rock Cafe, then this may be a place for you to check out.
When the food did finally arrive, I was pleasantly surprised. This can feed at least four people. It was piled high with beef and fixings. I just wish it would’ve arrived in less than an hour!
