5.0The artichoke/ spinach dip is fresh, hot, flavorful and nearly perfect. They used to have salted chips, which I find is now lacking. My friends prefer the unsalted variety though.
All of the entrees are just lovely, and are presented without pretentiousness. The prime rib, spare ribs, chicken dishes, fish specials… all just great. Super thin french fries are irresistible, and the veggies are always properly cooked.
The ambiance is perfect for a date, a dinner with friends, or an outing with clients. Tables are intimate and candlelit, but there is plenty of space if you wish to reduce the intimacy. The wait staff is sharply dressed in black and is always professional and attentive.
They recently got rid of some dishes that are sorely missed (namely the flying chicken platter and the ice cream sundae). But it’s still worth going for a terrific meal.
