Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs

We really enjoy the pizza from here, and it’s great to have the flavored crust options. However, my biggest issue is that many of the folks answering the phone taking orders do not speak adequate English. During my last attempt to order a pizza – I just gave up. When I asked about a special I had seen advertised, I was met with silence – clearly a communication issue as the guy had no idea what I was talking about. I attempted multiple times to explain. I should reveal that I am actually fluent in Spanish. However, I refuse to use it in establishments that should be communicating in English. When I am overseas, I speak the language of the country hosting me. I expect the same courtesy in my own country. It’s a shame because this is a disservice to the community. Especially the pizza-loving community!
