when one is trying a new restaurant for The Restaurant Week, one is expecting select examples of the restaurant’s well known signatures. i have tasted many delish morsels during the bi-yearly jaunts to restaurant week restaurants. tonight was a complete disappointment. the company was excellent; wine delish; food, simply bombed. service was slow, waiter did not know the specials, had to read off a card, looked like the regulars were served lavishly (emotional & visually), yet here we were, feeling inadequately fed.
