All I can say as the opening catch phrase is holy crap?! how is it not more talked about..or do I have loser acquaintances that don’t know about this place.
Granted for the standard run of the mill steak house Ruth’s Chris is great. HOWEVER, there’s a lot to be said about smaller companies that are putting in the personal touch and turning out one hell of a mother!
The steaks were amazing!!! I can’t stress enough how impressed I was with the quality of meat and cooking. I’m very used to my steaks being routinely over cooked..under cooked..fatty..too irony in taste…yada yada yada..I’m sure we all are. But my filet was a work of art! It was not only amazingly lean but perfectly cooked to medium rare and hot on the plate when i got it.
The decor is incredibly simple, so if you’re looking to impress this is NOT the place to do it. The pricing is similar to any steak house. A petit filet is $30. The 12 oz $40. The sides I believe are between $5-10. If you’re looking for an amazing steak this is your place.
p.s. the martinis are worth a try too.

11/06/2008you got your meat, potatoes, veggies, and pat of butter in a little metal container – i think that plate wins the all-american award of the day.
