Jerry's Famous Deli

2 weeks ago, in late August, I had the pleasure I spending a week-long vacation in Southern California with my 14yr old neice. I used to live in Marina del Rey and since she loves Chicken noodle soup I knew just where to take her for a healthy meal that I knew she would eat. We ordered Fish n Chips, Chicken noodle soup and strawberry cheesecake. Everything was served in huge portions. The Fish and soup were served nice and hot. The broth was perfect in the soup, not too salty and it tasted very ‘chicken-y’. The pieces in chicken in the soup were enough to serve as a side meal…they were large and fresh pieces of chicken, not processed.

We came here for breakfast after running a 5K so we were hungry! Service was average. There were 6 of us and 4 of us had omelets. They were big and tasty. One of us had eggs and bacon— standard fare— and one had toast and avocado. She said the avocado was hard and probably shouldn’t have been served. The sides of potatoes were particularly good. Tip was added, but it was in large, bold print on the tab, so there wasn’t a chance of double tipping. It was $99 for the 6 of us with tip.
