Went for lunch for the first time after hearing good reviews. Ordered a half salad and cheeseburger, which was not on the lunch special for 6.99 menu. When the bill came I was charged $7.29 for a half salad. Thinking that there was an issue with the bill I asked my waitress. The waitress took the bill to the manager (owner John Bell) and he came over to the table defending his price for a HALF SALAD stating that he needed to recoup the cost of the chicken breast. He also said the chicken breast was make to order, which was false because the chicken was served cold on the salad. After a long discussion he said he would discount my meal, which I didn’t ask for but he offered. The bill came back with the waitress with $1 off. What a slap in the face! I remained calm and feel like I should have said more. My whole family has been in restaurants for a long time and I have never been treated like this before. I will tell every single person I know and make sure that I try to keep business away from this place due to owner John Bell!
