Joe's Ginger

The first restaurant I had dinner at in my first visit to New York City…delicious! You can make a complete meal out of just the famous dumplings I’d heard about. We got one of each kind (Crab, Pork, Veggie) and that was plenty.

I plan to come back here next time and try some of their other dishes, along with their sister restaurant next door called Joe’s Shanghai.

mmmmmmmmmmmmm, the pork steamed buns are a must have here. other dishes are solid. would have tried the fried turnip cake too, but we just weren’t that hungry.

also had the braised duck (really good!), and eggplant with garlic sauce (solid!).

the only thing i would change is i would go with more people next time. and the price is definitely right.
