John A's Little Palace

John A’s is a small restaurant & bar located near Opryland Hotel. They have excellent food (as good as your mother & grand mother used to cook), great service, and every night they have a live country group singing. My wife and I eat or drink there about 3 times a month. They have a great happy hour and you can’t beat their prices anywhere in Nashville. Their food is better than most of the best “meat & 3’s” in all of Nashville. Their specials have included meat loaf, pot roast, spaghetti, and much more. Their chef salad is to die for and their mashed potato’s can not be beat. For an appetizer, try their catfish bites. They are really good.

The restaurant is more for adults and most of the patrons are over 50. Not great for chidren, but it is ok. Can be on the loud side but you soon get past the noise with the great food and cheap bar prices.
