This has to be Pasadena’s best kept secret. The service was quick and friendly and the atmosphere was cozy and casual. But the best part was the food. Everything was fresh and with wholesome homemade goodness. From the soups to the sandwiches, to the dinners, you can’t go wrong here. And portions are generous and the prices are right where they need to be on a family budget. There’s not many places where you can get a healthy homemade quality meal for $10 dollars that you truly look forward to eating. So take my advice and pay these guys a visit, you won’t be disappointed. And ignore those previous bad reviews from 5 plus years ago. Johny’s is doing it right and even Gordon Ramsey would be proud.
This burger is similar to the crab dip topped cheeseburger at The Green turtle only it’s fried instead of grilled and comes with a different bun. The burger was top quality and cooked exactly as ordered. The combination of the creamy crab dip and melted cheddar cheese along with a dark rich bun earns this burger concoction 5 stars. It comes with breaded seasoned french fries and a side of coleslaw for only $9 dollars. My friend ordered their corned beef sandwich which was a jaw dropping 2 inches thick and also for under $9 dollars with homemade coleslaw and fries or chips. It looked like it came from a New York deli or the Annapolis city docks. This place is worth bragging about.
