Kamal’s Kafe is an amazing place and also one of the best kept secrets. If you love Greek food, you should check it out. Not only will you get great food but you will get EXCELLENT service. My family and I have been going there for over 5 years and in those 5 years everytime we have a meal there we feel like Kamal invited us into his home, having dinner at his dining room table. He sits with us and we have great conversation. We love it. He gives us such personal attention. What’s important to me is that he takes an geniune interest in his customers and their lives. Anyone can go to a chain restuarant for food but if you want something special…go to Kamals. It’s worth the drive to Gonzales. EXCELLENT FOOD AND EXCELLENT SERVICE.

This greek & Lebanese restaurant has a great atmosphere, and the schwarma and lamb are about as good as any I’ve had. Great hummus. The cucumber, or grecian sauce is fair. I’m not crazy about the pilaf which is made with yellow rice. I prefer the white rice, preferably with almonds instead of pine nuts. Great customer service is a definite plus.
