best cake ever

This is a cool little find in Seattle’s Georgetown district. They serve all the typical Hawaiian dishes, so if you’re craving chicken adobo, kalua pork, spam, etc. you should definetely check this joint out. A popular lunch spot. They also have a bakery next door which makes the best cakes around. Every year I get my birthday cake from here. The best one is guava, though they also ofter a coconut, mango, and tri-colored one.

Friendly Service

Not bad, not the best either. We've eaten at places on Oahu such as Helena's whose kahlua pork and ribs are to die for each and every time. I don't know if it's fair to compare this restaurant in Seattle, to the one in Oahu, but I shall,…

Kauai's Family Restaurant takes you back to the Islands.

I love getting food from Kauai! The location is a little "hole in the wall" but the food is wonderful! I always get the BBQ with mac salad and fried rice. There might be a little wait but it lends itself to the atmosphere.
