lunch buffet booo

as a big fan of the bargain indian lunch buffets, i was quite excited to try klay oven’s for $9.95. i did my homework and read positive reviews on citysearch for their dinner, so i was hopeful that good indian food was coming my way.

oh, how absymally disappointed i was. the naan looked & tasted like last week’s batch, the ground lamb tasted more like ground beef, and the tandoori chicken was more tough than tender. i wasn’t expecting super fresh food, but they don’t even try to hide that the food is leftovers repackaged.

i’d take lunch buffet at india house over klay oven any day.

i left this place one sad bunny…

Okay food, nice ambience

Went there three times, the quality of food varies each time. Liked it first time, but didn't for next visits. Food was undercooked. Bread was subpar. If you really know how Indian food tests, then you will not enjoy this much.

Best Indian food in Chicagoland!!

The food was amazing but the portion quantity relatively was on the lower side. Otherwise the food was delicious, authentic North Indian flavor. Best value for money.

Awesome Buffet

Great lunch buffet 10.95. good selection of healthy and the creamy rich dishes. also serve salad at the buffet. Great experience! TRY THE DESSERTS both are great! Trust me give them both a try!!!
