this was probably my most favorite sushi joint in berkeley or in the east bay for that matter when i was an undergrad at cal. i used to come here to quench my sushi cravings, and even though i haven’t been back in awhile, i can’t imagine it’s changed much. it’s a teeny-tiny place hidden in an equally small korean plaza off of telegraph & 40th-something street – it’s a trek for anyone living near the uc berkeley campus, but it’s all worth at the end of your meal. the sushi menu is extensive, and the non-sushi menu is as equally extensive & tasty. the only downsides of eating here are the long waits (since it’s such a small place) and the horrendous parking (also small & chaotic).
