This is an old-fashioned diner with a counter and stools, and cute little booths. Don’t let the decor or location fool you – this is REAL food cooked by REAL people! Breakfast is their specialty – if you order two eggs with sausage you get: Four eggs, three huge sausages, half of a plate filled with great freshly cooked hash browns, two slices of toast (your choice of several) AND fresh off the bone ham. Ham is included with every breakfast platter and it tastes great! These guys are troopers – when our power was out for several days, they were still working with a generator, purchased ice in the cooler and a great “can-do” attitude. This family-owned business is the best kept secret in Des Plaines! Great value for the $$$ – you’d be hard pressed to spend more than $20.00 for two people – and you’ll have plenty to bring home.
