La Nova Pizzeria

I don’t know what that other reviewer’s experience was like but as far as your basic pizza is concerned (I’m a cheese and pep kinda guy) La Nova in Springdale essentially obliterates any local or national outfits that deliver there. Also, the folks who run it are professional and very nice. I should point out, however, that this pizza is meant to be eaten fresh. This is not a Domino’s pizza with a ton of preservatives, so you can’t stick it in your fridge for days and expect it to be good. This is REAL pizza.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. When they first opened they really tried and they weren’t too bad. I have given them a lot of business over the last couple years but I will never buy there again. The management have become extremely rude, the food is very disappointing, they get more orders wrong than right and the place is filthy. Visit the restroom before you place your order and you will walk right past the work station. You will be tempted to keep walking straight out the back door if you aren’t afraid of rodents gathered around the trash in the back yard. I only gave it the one star because the system doesn’t allow it to be left blank!

This place is under a year old and I kept hearing raves about it. I have been searching for a pizza place I loved and gave it a try. I got a slice to go and a gyro with fries. The gyro is advertised as being rotisserie lamb. The pizza was sub par and the gyro was NOT from rotisserie. The meat on the gyro was the typical processed lamb meat used in all restaurants around here. The fries were typical frozen fries thrown in a frier. The entire meal was disappointing. I won’t go back or recommend this place.
