The chips and salsa are what I would come here for. When my friends would have parties, someone would make the trip here to buy the chips and salsa to serve. We don’t do Tostitos and Pace Picante.

When I was young, many a lovely Sat. or Sun afternoon have been spent here devouring our chips and salsa and washing it down with a pitcher of beer. I would order a Chicken Tostada Compuesta to share, but we were really here for chips and beer. It’s a light chip. I actually prefer a heavier chip, but good chips and salsa are hard to come by.

It’s not a cute or pretty place. It can be loud and echoey and bright. You stand in line when you first walk in. When you get to the counter, you make your order and go find a table. It’s your typical Mom & Pop Mexican-American fast food loaded with American cheddar. Its a simple no frills menu.

I also would buy my masa here when I would make tamales.

I love this place…taquitos r easy to make but theres are the best i’ve ever had…i dont know what it is but i wish i knew so i could make mine like that

only reason i didn’t give them a five star review is cuz i ordered them once ahead of time on the phone with the guacamole…i came at the time they should have been ready…waited 15 mins there for them…and then five mins before i got my food they said they didn’t have guacamole…no apology…no refund
very rude but what could u do…i’m not gonna yell at the people who r making my food
