We were planning a Saturday in the Montclair area and I did some research to find a hidden gem restaurant in the area. Lalezar popped up and we were not disappointed. We arrived early; we were the only ones in the restaurant for about 15 minutes…which was great because we got top notch service. Soon enough some locals started to come in and the place was about half full by the time we left before 7:00. When I asked about “busy time” they said it was usually between 7:00 and 8:00 that it gets crowded on a Saturday. They do have a bellydancer that started her performance later in the evening.

It’s a nice quiet place and the food is prepared very well and quickly. You can tell that all of the ingredients are fresh! The decor is colorful and interesting to look at, it is tasteful and creates a nice ambiance. Certainly a great place to stop if you are in the Montclair area, we will be going back.
