During furniture shopping, we decided to get some food at a small strip mall near Ikea. I am not a regular in Renton, and never enjoy restaurants in the area (one I have tried so far). But Lemon Leaf changed that real quick.
The inside is really-really beautifully decorated, and the table settings are amazing. The menus are unique – out covers for menus are in beautifully crafted material (I want to say bamboo, but I don’t remember). The menu was full of items – everything looked so good too. Each menu item seemed to have a description of what the dish contained.
2 Thai iced teas – $5.90
Spring rolls with a peanut sauce (a serving came with 4 rolls) – $5.25
Vietnamese Crepes (my wife had this. Combo of pork, sprouts, shrimp, and other stuffings) – $9.50
Pacific Ocean Crepes (seafood combination) – $10.95
All the food was amazing.
The waiter was really-really friendly. He even came over to help explain how to eat the crepes with lettuce (if we had never tried to eat them like this before).
Next time you take a trip Ikea, or just in the area near the South Center Mall, stop by this restaurant.
PS – The waiters were elegantly dressed black and white. Nicely tucked-in. Made me feel under-dressed when I first entered, but feel comfortable real fast when I saw other customer not dressed up in formal wear.
