On old main street in santa monica, the library ale house is a good place to get drinks, watch a game on the tube, grab some food, or do all three. Not to mention, people watch. You are in west LA.

I agree with Nordin, food is pretty good, but the service,
is really depended on who take care of your table.
I like the Kobe buger there, just that I am not sure
how much "real’ kobe beef they put in to the burger?

The Library Alehouse has decent food, but depending on who you get as a server your experience will either be a pleasant one, or a terrible one. Go on Monday and the sandwiches and burgers are half off. You get chips and salsa before your meal, w00t.

Good burgers, a little slow on service. A good selection of beers.

Been here a couple of times and haven’t been disappointed yet. There’s a good selection of beers on tap along with some lighter fruitier ones for the ladies. The food is above-average for bar food, but some of the dishes weren’t as satisfying or filling as I would have liked.

There’s a good sized covered patio in the back which is nicer than the bar atmosphere in the front.
