Lizards Thicket is as good as any Banquet T.V. Dinner I have ever had, and it only costs six to eight times the amount.
Six years ago they had good quality dishes, but now the food is so processed that you can bearly recognize that it is the same restaurant.
If you want a good Southern Home Cooked meal, go to Comptons for lunch in triangle city, or The Farmers Shed in Lexington, Now that is some good food. I recommend that the owners of Lizards Thicket go to these restaurants and try out the food, Maybe they will remember when they could be proud of what they served.
Lizards thicket needs to regroup, and go back to quality prepared dishes.
You get two thin pieces of processed pressed ham that has been sliced and microwaved. You get better processed ham from a burger king breakfast sandwich, at least it has a smoked flavor.

Good traditional Southern cooking! Fast, pleasant service, generous portions, wide variety of choices and the price is more than reasonable! Daily specials are available that can't be beat!
