Since it’s at the base of the new Andra hotel, I was afraid Lola would be another hotel restaurant. It turns out that Downtown/Belltown was one of the few Seattle neighborhoods without a breakfast destination restaurant. Until Lola opened. It’s across from the Dahlia, so if you stand on the corner, you can see 5 of the 6 Tom Douglas Seattle eateries.

Lola is the most casual. As with the other 5, many of the tables are booths. It’s a good place to meet colleagues and is appropriate for families, though the prices are a bit steep.

If you need a hearty breakfast in downtown Seattle, I’m pretty sure there’s no better choice on a weekday.

Overall this was a nice dining experience. We had a large group of people, 5 of which were vegetarians. Unfortunately for them, there were not too many vegetarian options, so all 5 of them ordered the same thing but they all were very happy with it. The meats were very lovely though. Lamb was nice. My chicken was good, but I wasn’t impressed with chicken sausage. The portions were on a smaller side for dinner, so everybody devoured their food. I’ll try it for weekend brunch.

Yum. Get the full set of spreads+extra pitas as an appetizer – you won’t be disappointed.

This place has some good food. The lamb I had was very moist and tender. I have also been here for brunch. The portions were very large and they also serve the donuts from Dahlia Lounge for breakfast!

The place is great. My family and I have eaten here no fewer than 15 times. The seafood is always perfectly cooked.Thank you Tom Douglas for your dedication to not over cooking seafood.
