after trying gino’s, giordano’s, and uno’s, lou malnati’s continues to be my favorite chicago deep dish pizzeria. there’s something about the buttery, greasy, crispy crust that gets me everytime.

The sausage is the tastiest out of all of the chains.

I LOVE Lou Malnati’s thin crust pizza! Deep dish is so-so. The reason why I love their thin crust is because of the crust! Taste sooo good!!! Oh man I am craving it right now!!! =)

Well, I must confess. It did not live up to the superhype that the restaurant was given. It was good, but Pizza Papalis in Greektown is still better. Maybe it is because I am more used to Pizza Papalis, maybe it is because of the spices, I am not sure, or maybe I just had it built up too much. Overall the service was good, the food was good but next time I am in Chicago, I will probably try Giordano’s.

Lou’s pizza is pretty good, but it’s not my favorite chicago deep dish (i like edwardo’s). I’m not a fan of Lou’s crust…it seems sort of dry or tasteless. It’s hard to describe, it just seems lacking. That being said, I wouldn’t turn it down :)
