There are actually two Luca’s Pizza locations in the same Cumberland Mall. That is a testament as to how poorly this mall is doing.

Unlike most mall food, Luca’s excels. Their crust is perfectly balanced as a crust should be. If one holds the slice from the edge, the slice will not sag.

I am partial to their mushroom pizza. They cook their slice pies plain and then add the toppings once the ’za is out of the oven. The mushrooms are canned, but my are these good.

As one can imagine, mall pizza is on the expensive side. They always have slices ready. There is little waiting when one orders. The help is friendly.

We’ve enjoyed pepperoni rolls, garlic bread, and calzones over the years too.

I never mind coming to the mall when Luca’s is on the agenda.
