4.0Well, it was a little noisy, a little cramped. But, the hostess was charming and our waitstaff Constance efficient, pleasant and very helpful. We ordered some goofy drinks. The fresh strawberry mojito and the Dr Pepper bottle w/ vanilla vodka. Really delish, I am embarrassed to say that. So now I am both a coupon using senior and a spring break drinker. I am sooo ashamed.
The grilled artichoke had a really nice lemony sauce, the little bibb lettuce and radish salad perfectly delicate. We had the special trout, it was a huge portion.Fried and not greasy w/ smashed potatoes and stewed tomatoes. The only deficit was the underdone fennel. The mac and cheese was good, not transcendent.
I really don’t like peanut butter anywhere but on a sandwich. My other half, will eat it on a pork chop. We had the peanut butter pie, AMAZING. Light yet intensely flavored. I want more!
I hate peanut butter. I loved this pie

3.0Four girlfriends tried Luna Park for their Dine LA prix fixe menu.
Appetizers – The tuna “poke” (pronounced pokey) was very tasty; seared tuna, tomatoes, onion, marinated in soy sauce w/crispy wontons. The goat cheese fondue was okay; a small ramekin of melted cheese came with thinly sliced apples and (too much) toasted bread. i love feta & apples, but this cheese was not as salty so was kind of bland. The carrot soup tasted like tomato w/a slight carrot aftertaste. It needed some zing.
Entrees – The flat iron steak salad was tender & juicy w/lovely mixed greens. Grilled Salmon over Spaghetti ‘Aglio y Olio’ and Watercress was very nice but the cress might just as well have been spinach. One of us doesn’t eat carbs, so they accommodated her w/spinach instead of pasta.
Desert – the Meyer lemon tart had a thin chocolate layer that was moot. It was very tart. It came w/bittersweet chocolate sauce, too. It didn’t need any of the chocolate & i didn’t like the bitter w/the tart citrus. The fried apple pie w/caramel ice cream was yummy.

Came to Luna with my sister during her birthday. Food was great. We had a salad and an avocado burger. They offer great discounts through twitter and groupon and have a full bar. If you can, go there on someones birthday, the "cake"…
