J. Arthur’s is nice and everything and it’s where we usually go for our anniversary dinner every year, but MVR is where I’ve been coming since I was 8 and it seems like it never changes. When we’re staying in the valley, Joey’s can fuck right off with it’s hour long wait for breakfast. MVR never has that long a wait and the sausage biscuits n gravy is fanfuckingtastic. The bacon is awesome and the burgers are great. I used to spend all summer living 100ft behind the restaurant so maybe I’m biased, but if you come through Maggie Valley hungry and don’t stop here, you’ve got issues.
