If you want to get some cheap sushi, then Manpuku is a viable option for you. The sushi is cheaper than most other places in the area. The special roles are 6-7 dollars, while at most other sushi joints, they are at 9 or more. They have an OK variety of sushi, though I have seem places with more. This is not to say they lack sufficient variety. This is one of those order and sit down places, or you can get it to go. I didn’t order a noodle dish or any of the entrees, but the prices were quite low. Probably hovered around 7 dollars.
I forgot the name of the sushi I ordered. It had on eel on top, with avocado and yellowtail inside. I liked the yellowtail, which added some substance to the sushi, while avocado made sure there was some flavor. And eel is always good in my book.
I’d say the sushi is not the most spectacular, probably registering around 3-3.5 stars. The cheapness is probably enough to keep people coming back. It is fairly far from campus though, so driving is the best option, or maybe a bus.
