McCleary's Public House

McCleary’s PUblic House is a wonderful upscale pub atmosphere, with live music and a cafe-style bar scene in the back room — outdoor seating available in the summer — and a beautifully-restored, traditional pub atmosphere in the main dining room. For a quieter spot to have a more leisurely dinner or bottle of wine, ask to be seated upstairs — and take in the beautifully appointed dining rooms and balcony. The food (from steaks to tuna tartar to pub favorites) is solid, well-prepared, and consistently good. Walk through to the bar in the back for a cozy place to have a great martini, or one of the many microbrew beer offerings. A great place to get together with friends, or meet new ones! Highly recommended.

Great place to go for a couple of drinks and listen to some great music or for a casual dinner. Nice cozy atmosphere with great food! Check out the website. Somewhat new to this place and can’t wait till the weather gets warmer so I can check out the deck! but now that it’s cold… you don’t feel it when ur inside. Cozy fireplace, hardwood floors (i think the original) and a copper topped bar. Love it! If you like a varity of beer, check out their beer list, quite impressive.

What a beautiful establishment! The British styled pub is cozy yet exquisite. Situated in rough and tumble Marietta (a workin’ man’s town), McCleary’s is first rate. The food was great, though a bit overpriced for my taste. The only thing preventing this from joining my list of regular stops is the distance from my home.
