Yeah, other reviews are true. You get very little for what you pay for. The chili itself is much too greasy and not thick enough. It looked like leftover pasta was being used for the chili pasta dish. Service is tough to get if you’re not a local.

I went to Mikes because I heard on the Food Network that they had great bean-less chili so I ordered a $5 bowl with cheese. It was a small bowl, loaded with too much cheese and very salty. It also came loaded with beans which I detest. I assume they put beans in my chili because they assumed I expected it but they were wrong, nor did they ask me why I couldn’t eat it. I won’t be back. It was also very loud inside with locals yelling across the small room.
