Welcome to Monsoon East. After nearly ten years of operation in Capitol Hill, Seattle, we are bringing the exquisite creations of siblings, Sophie and Eric Banh to Bellevue. Our focus is bringing the highest quality of ingredients from the Northwest and incorporating them into modern Vietnamese dishes. great option for vietnamese on the Eastside

Monsoon East is a great little spot in old Bellevue. Recently opened, this is spawned off the original restaurant over in capitol hill. Personally, I like the atmosphere of the original location a little better as it’s a little quieter, but this place is still a great option for food in Bellevue. There aren’t many good Vietnamese restaurants on the eastside – so Monsoon East is up there. This place was bustling on a Friday for lunch, lots of people on lunch break here. Reasonably priced food in a nice atmosphere.

Drunken Chicken and Yu-choy over rice

Pretty good dish, I guess I didn’t realize the chicken was fried, as I’m not a fan of fried food. But the egg over the rice with the veggies was good. Could have used more vegetables.
