This nice little cafe just opened up on Michigan right south of the river and it seems like a good place to have a quiet conversation with your friends. The location is really spacey and open and it was peacefully quiet. There are some really neat chocolates that we didn’t get to try, but I’m sure we’ll pass by again :) The people are also super friendly – they even walked around and offered chocolate samples.

If you happen to be walking up or down Michigan Ave., stop in and grab a little dessert. Chocolate is good for you!

Good chocolates, but not the best I’ve tried. Their ganaches are very frosting-like and heavy, and all of their flavors seem to be geared towards the mild, unadventurous dessert crowd.

Moonstruck Cafe is a nice, trendy cafe which serves chocolate themed items. They have tons of chocolate, and products with chocolate integrated into it. I thought the prices were kind of high, though they did have some novel drinks and food items. The cookies and pastries with chocolate were all very tasty, but they cost a lot and were small. You are definitely paying for quality, not quantity. It’s a place worth visiting if you like chocolate, because they probably have something there you would love.

the cafe is more quiet than you’d expect, and offers a mix of spaciously arranged sitting arrangements – sofas, cafe round tables, and high barstool tables.

i’ll most likely come by this place again when walking down michigan. how can i not??! chocolate cafes are irresistable!
