Similar to BCD Tofu House in Los Angeles, My Tofu House serves great Korean tofu soup. Easily the best I’ve come across in San Francisco, the soup is tasty, hot, spiced to how you like and served at a reasonable price. The downside is that meat dishes are rather costly and there are no combo orders.

Good go to place.

I got into Soondooboo during the cold NYC winters; however, when I'm back in my hometown of SF and I want some home style Korean cooking, My Tofu house is the sure thing! Good lunch specials too!

Tofu!

My Tofu House is a small Korean restaurant located on Geary. It is usually very crowded, so do try and come early or later than regular eating hours. The tofu soup is delicious. The food was very satisfactory and the service was good.…

Note: i think i've eaten here every time i'm home since december of '06. the owner is so nice. she's awesome. you can have your tofu soup either mild, medium, or SPICY. tofu soups come with rice served on a large, hot stone bowl and a variety of side dishes. after scooping the rice into individual bowls, they pour tea into the stoneware with the leftover rice and let it steep until you're ready to enjoy. simply awesome. price is fair. parking is not your friend.
