Neely's Bar-B-Que Restaurant

We’ve had Neely’s catered in to work on several occasions, as well as gone there for lunch. Their BBQ tends towards sweeter BBQ, rather than spicy, and the pulled pork is delicious with a lovely smoky taste. The BBQ chicken has been really good some days, and mediocre on others. Sometimes the chicken is very tender and easy to pull off the bone, other times tough and chewy. Their baked beans and cole slaw are very good. The baked beans tends towards sweet and spicy, and the cole slaw has quite a kick to it, too! Service is a little slow in the restaurant, but the catering goes off without a hitch.

We took a trip over to Neely’s because we had heard from various people that they had pretty good food. The food wasn’t too bad. The wing’s were good and had lots of flavor. The ribs were not as good as some places I have been to. The service is a bit slow, but if you are coming for some outstanding bar-b-q, the place isn’t worth the hype. It is a decent restaurant with quality food, but not as outstanding as it may sound.
